2018
Airbus Headquarters, Toulouse Blagnac
As part of an Airbus Defence & Space project launch, I had the opportunity to participate in a Design Sprint, the well-known methodology developed by Google Ventures. Following the sprint, I supported the project team in building the first MVP functionalities.
How might we use Airbus satellite imagery to provide users with a detailed weather analysis report through a web interface?
How can we present relevant, synthesized data in a clear and actionable way?
During the sprint, I contributed by generating ideas through sketches and creating interactive prototypes of key features. Afterward, I worked with the team to refine the project and test the functionalities with early adopters.
We began by identifying typical user profiles with personas and mapping their experiences through a User Journey Map, validated by subject matter experts.
This process allowed us to quickly bring ideas to life and evaluate them with the team.
After the Design Sprint, I continued supporting the team through the MVP design phase. Collaborating closely with the Product Owner and developers, we integrated a UX-driven approach into feature development.
We used the sprint outputs as the foundation for our design work. While focusing on the core service feature, we also ensured a coherent overall user journey. This required reviewing the site flow and creating wireframes for the main screens, balancing usability with technical feasibility.
